Google may be working on an to Apple’s find my network

Google issued the latest Play Service update, version 50.22, earlier this month.

The latest Play Store upgrade has also recently begun to be rolled out by the tech behemoth.

Both updates provide a slew of new features, such as support for digital car keys and an upgraded ID verification process.

These allude to the business working on an Android-specific Find My Device network.

This network was first mentioned by Google in 2021.

The network has not made any further progress since then.

Apart from Android’s guessed Find My network tips, the new Google Play update also includes some other improvements.

Android devices have a new feature that automatically accesses apps when storage space is low.

Google Play’s most recent changes refers to an encrypted last-known-location report and a “privacy-centric architecture.”

References to it have been discovered in the most recent Google Play updates.
